rapunzel, rapunzel, let down your hair

Theresa, Kaitie (another Creighton rower) and I decided to explore the city we're living in. So Saturday morning, we woke up bright and early. I went to get Theresa and then we went to Kaitie's house. Outside, I made a friend :)

He was stuck and I saved him. Theresa wouldn't let me pet him though.
Mommy! He's adorable and I need one ;) please.

Once everyone was sufficiently awake and all together, we made the trek to the milk market, once again. It's the place to be on Saturday mornings. Theresa and I left with some fancy cheese and a few oranges and Kaitie with a bag full of stuff.

Then, we made our way to King John's Castle. Fun fact: King John had never actually been to this castle. Don't ask me why it's still called King John's castle, I don't know...

We found lots of fun stuff on our way:

A group of passing cyclists totally saw this and cheered. Funny? no. Hilarious? yes.

yup, that's about it.

hey! there it is!

We finally made it inside, flashed our student IDs, got the discount, and proceeded on our way in.

  2. I don't know what it was but it was cute! A lot of the castles have O'Brien crests in them. And a lot of things are named O'Brien. We must have been pretty cool...
