Two weekends ago (I know, I know, it's been forever...), I spent my Friday night at a Stoplight Party. Since the Irish students go home every weekend, the International Office puts on themed parties every Friday night at the bar on campus. This particular Friday was a Stoplight Party. That means that depending on your relationship status, you wear red (which means you're taken), orange (because this country doesn't have yellow? which I don't know, I guess it means that you don't know?), or green (which they described as single and ready to mingle). Only the international students get the emails about the themes of the parties, and the bar is open to everyone. Therefore, the idea of the party was a total dud and there was mass confusion as to why so many people were wearing 1 of 3 colors. Despite that, Theresa and I had met up with some friends and had a really good time. The pictures below are from before the event.
